This site is for my students. I've had so many great papers on topics that matter, and these papers should be read by those who are interested in educating themselves on what is happening in the world.
For students who want to add their papers to this site: make sure you are on the home page. Sign up or sign in, then in the left column, click on "add a new page."
Copy your essay and paste it into the page you have created. Make sure to edit it so that readers will want to actually read it. In other words, don't paste it and leave it as is, or you'll have one big giant block of text no one really wants to try to decipher. I recommend adding a space between paragraphs to make it look more inviting.
Alyson Stoner! Even though my birth was the most important in the year of 1993, there were many more almost as important births in the same year. On August 11th, 1993, a beautiful daughter, Alyson Stoner, was born to the parents of LuAnn Hodges and Charlie Stoner in the town of Toledo, Ohio. Some short years later, Alyson attended school at Maumee Valley Country Day School and studied ballet, tap, and jazz dance. As she got older, she began modeling through the Margaret O'Brien Modeling Studio and eventually won model of the year at the International Modeling and Talent Association (IMTA). Throughout her growth, Stoner devoted her life to dancing; little did she know her dedication would soon take her across the country into the big world of Los Angeles to jump start her career as an actress. To start off her career in the big leagues, for many years, she was casted in small commercials for Mattel, Hallmark-Disney and McDonald’s, just to get her image out there for managers to see and hopefully one day become interested enough to give her a call. On her journeys through LA, Stoner caught some breaks as a background dancer for major artists such as Missy Elliot, Bow Wow, Eminem, Outkast, and Will Smith in their well known music videos. Besides dancing with celebrities, Alyson also kept herself busy dancing with a group called JammXKids from 2003 to 2006. With immense opportunities right under her feet, she snatched up rolls in popular movies like, “Cheaper by the dozen” (1 & 2), “Step Up” (1 & 3), Disney's “Camp Rock” (1 & 2), and the television shows “Suit Life of Zack and Cody”, “Phineas and Ferb”, and “Mike's Super Short Show” from the Disney channel. If starring in movies and television shows wasn't enough for Stoner, it was obvious she needed to try something new in her career. Though she's still acting, Alyson recently tried a different approach to make her name shine even more: music. Starting with covers of popular music, she began to build her name as a singer to become more known to recording producers and managers. In 2005, she sang songs called “Lost and Found” and “Free Spirit” for the soundtrack to the movie “Alice Upside Down,” and in 2009 recorded a cover for “Dancing in the moonlight” for the children's movie, “Spacebuddies.” After growing more comfortable with the business, she then started producing her own music. On August 23rd, 2011 the most recent release of her album, “Beat the System,” got amazing reviews from her loyal fans and even some new ones, and rated the CD with a 4.5 out of 5 stars. The tremendous reviews of the newly explored music, sung by Stoner, gave other listeners a reason to check out the mixture of hip hop and sweet ballads, even if it wasn't their favorite type of music to listen to. As if Alyson wasn't already an amazing actor and dancer, she now perfected the last piece of singing to become the triple threat she was always meant to be. Aside from the outrageous world of work, Alyson always tries to find time to do the little things she enjoys. She's still dancing her little legs off and singing her voice box to shreds to keep herself in shape and always on her A-game. For fun, she claims she loves playing basketball, soccer, volleyball, golf, and gymnastics. At the mere age of 18 years old, she teaches a hip hop class at Millennium Dance Complex, and is credited as the youngest person to ever teach a master class there. With her continuous accomplishments, AlysonStoner leaves us wondering what she will try to take on, and conquer, next. Over the last eighteen years of her life, Alyson Stoner has accomplished so many things that people who are twice her age would never even imagine to accomplish. From coming from an unknown town in Ohio to the big city of Los Angeles, California, Alyson proved to the world that she could catch their attention and make them fall in love with all of her work. Whether it be something she was experienced in or something she just wanted to try out, the most loyal of her fans would always stick by her side and keep her striving to do even better. |
